background question

i have black gravel and i wanted to get a background for my tank... i was thinking about going with black... especially cause i figured it will bring out the brightly colored fish have in the tank... like they will stand out against all the black ( it's a well lit tank so it isnt dark at all now )

For something cheap and simple, it's hard to beat "Elmer's Foam Board" sold at nearly any Walmart in the school supply section. Comes in 20"x30"x3/16" thick sheets that can be cut and taped to the back of the tank. Comes in many colors, including black.

i just taped up a thick black garbage bag on the back of mine getto but it works good lol

i got some pleather from a fabric store only cost about a buck for every three yards or whatever

I used Krylon Flat Black Spray Paint, looks good...
