what are your thoughts on formed fibreglass style backgrounds (the type that you actually put in the tank and silicone in!)?

nice look in terms of aquascaping but hard to clean and it takes up more room for the fish to swim in if your growing out monsters. i would rather place it in back of the tank.

yeah rock background are a rockin set-up, unless you have a good width tank

its an 'L' shape but only 15 inches wide. Wanna keep texas and dempsey sized fish.

They are lookin naturally and behind the background you can have a filter but, as mentioned before, they steals a lot of space. Usually I just use something black behind the tank as a background.
