I need background ideas or tips. I've bought several form the local petstore and they never work out right. I usually tape them on the back but I always end up getting water between it and the glass wall. Any tips on attaching that?

Is there any other alternatives? Its going on a 29g tall sw tank that is currently in use so i can't move it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Buy this, it works well. Google it for info. Also I just use black contact paper or most times just spray paint it blue or black and call it a day.

i use canloa oil halfed with water and sprayed on the tank with a squirt bottle

If you want a bad ass background check out the 3d ones, there's a few companies that make them. Depending on your tank size they are expensive but look amazing. For me my main tank is a 150 and it would cost over 200 but they really do look cool. You can also make them yourself if your good at DIY projects. Right now I just have a black background bought some material at walmart for less then 5 bucks. Id suggest googling 3d background and checking them out.

Not sure about the US, but in Hong Kong we have a cheap alternative to Fiberglass 3D backgrounds, which are just made out of styrofoam but look pretty much the same, so might be an idea to see if you can find one?

Coz over here the Fiberglass ones that jewel makes cost about HKD $300 - $400+ for a 2'X2' sheet, where as a foam board one only costs HKD $40...

I went out this morning and got that SeaView stuff... Here are before and after pics. I think it was well worth the 4.99!
