doesn't depend on the fish as much as your preference. put a black garbage bag back there for an idea of how it'll look. I didn't like the black. on one tank I have aluminum foil, on the other two, just a white wall.

Ok. I was also wondering if you do the back wall and the two sides in say black would it make the lighting brighter?
