Hi

Anyone have pics of the penn plax blackground (double sided: black on one side and light blue fades to dark blue on the other) AND laminate sticky dark blue backgroun...

I have seen them but am not sure how they look in a tank full of water :D

thanks

I don't know what brand it is, but my background has a black side and a blue side...I use the blue.

Thanks for the pics.... Both your tanks look so clean :D

I went with the sticky dark blue.......cost me a fortune lol

By the way, how did you stick the background to the glass?

A trick I've found that works great is smear vaseline all over the glass and then put the background over it and take a very straight, hard edge and flatten it down. It takes a while, it's messy, and it's really hard to do against a wall (don't ask me how i know)

The results look fantastic though.

Thanks :D 6 of those dollars in my pic are common SDs, 5 are red hooks.

I just used tape on the corners and on the top middle section to hold the background in place (the HOB filters also keep the background against the glass).
