no one would doubt that statement but why?
In general, only such fats as are in liquid state at the optimal keeping temperature of the respective fish species are suitable for fish nutrition. Otherwise, the ingested fat will congeal in the fishs arteries and veins blowing the fish into pieces! For this reason, HotDogs and HamBurgers, for example, should be excluded as a source of fat. Only beef heart and lean muscle meat, both of which are low in fat, can be used.
