Hi everyone,

i wanted to see if anyone has any experience with bacter clean f as i saw a few videos where people mentions this does a great job helping clean the tank as well as reduce and eliminate nitrates. (Helpful between standard water changes).

Has anyone used this before?

Are you looking to use this in a marine or freshwater environment? As far as I know this is a carbon dosing product and will only work efficiently in marine tanks with protein skimmers

If you are using a marine tank then this is a good product and I say use it. I have personally enjoyed using seachem pristine in my freshwater tanks and I’ve noticed significant detritus difference so I’d say that one works better in freshwater.

There are cheaper products that work just as well as Seachem Pristine if not better. Lots of experiments done here

Good to know, thanks for this info

bacter clean f is specifically for freshwater. I’d be using this on a freshwater 300g tank. I’ll check that link out thank you
