Bacteria in a bottle?

i was wondering if any of you have used those "bacteria in a bottle" type products?

i am not talking about biospira cycling stuff -- i am talking about a water additive for an already cycled tank ---

the product claims to remove ammonia, nitrites, etc....

obviously, you wouldn't have much of these in an already cycled tank - but if you were to add an additional substantial bioload, then some spikes could happen, and i guess this product helps you with that process without having to constantly do water changes....

any input?

yeah.. theres 2 ends pf the spectrum... some love it some hate it... i dont/never ues it so :/

I only like to use bio spira but have on new tanks used seachem stability and cycle with no problems but whenever possible I try to add nothing to my water

I believe in keeping it as simple as possible, I don't like adding anything other than water conditioner to remove the chlorine.
