What is the best 1st thing to do when you wake up 1 morning and see your tank all "foggy" and is having a bacterial bloom?
My instinct is telling me to do a water change...is my instinct correct?

yes. Though that will not sort the bloom out. It will be sorted by the filter media.

i see..if i replace the filter media from a stable tank, how long should it settle the bloom?it's my fault,i accidentally soak the filter in a chlorinated water instead of the old tank water when i did a water change..i got confused.hehe! Oooops!

well one time i had these really small flat worms in one tank(dont know how they got there)
but they ate some of the BB and left over fish food n stuff but i ended up killing them
cuz they could of been parasites or sum thing

you can add cycled media from another tank. That will help

thanks!
Last questions sir, what i have in that tank is 1 florida gar,2 bichir and also acts as a grow out for my gator gar tsn and rtc.i'm a bit worried about them as this is my 1st time experiencing a bacterial bloom.what are the symptoms that i should watch out?
And should i do another water change?the bloom started yesterday and last water change was also yesterday.

I would do a water change once a day and test the water.

You have a biig bioload in that tank

yeah..i have to do 2 water change every week.the gator and rtc grew fast than i expected.i have to start the pond earlier than expected.
