BAD ALGEA?

i have heard that blue/green algea is bad....is this true? bc i think i may have some and i dont kno what is causing it. i do 2x weekly water changes and my parameters are normal. what am i to do?

remove it manually scrub the infected areas and do a water change after blue and red algae are hard to kill also black thread algae if you dont have plants you might try some agae killer

im worried about food for my pleco.....so i dont want to use algae killer. is it bad to have the algae or just annoying

good decision, it could poison it. however, algae isnt always bad, and is annoying. just manually scrub it off

How much sunlight is your aquarium getting?

its not going to hurt anything as long as its kept to a min if it gets control then it could be a problem clean as much as possible limit your lighting to 12 hrs max and do regular water changes i do 30% weekly keeps it check
