I got a 5-6" male borleyi a few weeks ago. Hes yellow with a gray face think its just a bad borleyi?

i think we need a pic.. male borleyi look like this... so i am quessing that maybe the one in question is female. Or a male yellowfin borleyi that looks like this... that may be the one you have.. mine are called red fin...pic above

these were taken 2 weeks ago the day I traded him in. I was really disappointed because to me he was a great looking fish and alot of personality but he became way to vicious, tearing up all his tankmates fins and beating some to near death.

I know, it definitely was unusual, I actually went to the shop yesterday where I brought him and they put him in there monster tank with some huge african, his "donminant male" bright colors have faded and he was cowering in the corner. I really wanted to take him back lol but all my other fish are looking so much better since the badass is gone and alot more peace in the tank.
