I need to vent because I'm all fired up about some of the worst customer service I've received in recent memory. My RX8 started throwing CELs again and sputtering so I know it's time to do coils and plugs. Mazda factory coils are total junk and begin to go bad around 25k-30k and notice a rougher idle and worse MPG. I bite the bullet and order a set of LS2 coils, and plugs and wires for my rx8 and take a car from work(advantage of working at a car lot)

I've emailed multiple times explaining I'm in a rental (kinda) and would like to know when I can get my parts. The phone number isn't listed. After no response, I look up a phone number they posted in a vendor part of a rx8 forum. No answer, no reply to messages. Now I ordered march 15th and I'm not happy. I spend 30 min looking for their business license and the number on the application and finally find it. The guy who answers owns the company and seems horrified a customer was able to get a hold of him. He says they were backordered on brackets but the rest has been built and he doesn't want to refund my money, "just wait I'll make sure your is the first to go out next week"

Maybe I'm mad because I'm in customer service and know this is unacceptable. Just seems like a shoddy run "company" and I wish I had a recording of the guy when he picked up. Priceless.

Reason why I don't buy online unless its with PayPal since I can dispute it. Plus RX8 you being in the car industry realise that cars performance for maintenance cost are horrid. I wouldn't own one if someone gave it to me since unless I was a mechanice that knows rotary. Sell the car and buy something that doesn't burn oil and gets horrible gas mileage with no performance.

Performance is all different, sure it does a 6s 0-60 (same as v6 mazda6) but car and driver put it 2nd on their list of best handling sports cars under 100g. At 24g it's impressive it only lost to Porsche 911. They burn oil because they are basically a 2 stroke and use an oil metering pump to add motor oil to the gasoline similar to a snowmobile. Good news is only 3 parts move so they are reliable until they totally fail hahaha (I knew all this before I bought it, worked for Mazda 3 years)

I did use pay pal but I feel like it would be a bit rough to dispute charges. Hope I can get my car back soon I miss that gas pig haha. Maybe pick up a mpg or 2. (dont think it could go down unless I punctured my gas tank)
