don't jump on the "i lost a fish so i'm quitting" train. that's weak. fish die man, it's part of the hobby.

im not quiting. u could say im restarting lol. cuz i really love orinos cuz i have raised mine for a year and a half from around an inch. i was thinking mayb get 20 or so pbass from the lfs where i got mine from cuz when they get pbass they are labled as monos but some of the time they are orino.

Not even close to my bad day. I have 4 ocellaris left after starting with 30. I'm down to two temensis starting with 19. I had to buy in bulk because I live in another country and they don't sell them here. I have yet to see a peacock bass survive ich. Even with salt and 89 water temp. It's like they have no will to live. I'll see a speck of ick, start treating and they're dead in two days. My 4 ocellaris are 4 inches and looking beautiful. Man I hope they survive. The Temensis are about 7.

Theres something in your tank that is killing them. Ive had some pbass do that in the past. I ended up treating for bacterial and parasites and the problem never happenned again. But before i decided to treat i had 2 peacock bass die then a month went by and 3dats died then 2weeks or so went by and 4bass died all doing the same thing as yours after all that the total was 3dats and 8bass. 4 6inches and 2 12inches all bass/5inch dats... what a kick in the balls! Hope this helps you...I ended up treating with triple sulfa ,stopped feeding feeders and kept up/bigger water changes.
