Well i caught my 30 inch silver trying to catch and eat another poly:irked:?
This guy is well fed and still he does this once in a while:screwy:.
He has eaten 4 now and I am afraid i will have to remove the other polys.
Keep in mind the polys are all 15 inches or bigger.Has anyone else had this problem? He will soon be the biggest silver in a glass tank if this keeps up.Here is the brute.

He is in a 300 gallon tank but i am going to make a new tank next year 8x3x3 for him.

Heheheh you are playing with fire ^^ three is a serial killer (fourth is a conviction lol). He will do it again for sure. Move them polies already ^^

Size of the tank has nothing to do with it - just increases the odds for your polys of not being caught... and may be adding sport for the chaser lol

In any case, your silver is a stunner even if it does not play well with morcel sized tank mates lol

Speak up also if you have a 30 inch silver or bigger in a tank, not a pond.

Soon ... soon ... mines are only low 20 at most ... their future home is the tank (10'x6.7'x2.5' or 3x2x.08m) to be inherited from RTC, gars and paimas

Currently, in 7 footer ... yes, i know it is somewhat crowded

PS: my advice for your tank go wider for the tank rather than higher (8x4x2 rathan than 8x3x3)

I'll have to get a more accurate measurement on my silver, but he's getting close to 30" in a 2ft wide glass tank (265). He's going in a pond in the near future though.

Thank you, at least he plays well with another big silver 28 inches and a 27 inch black.

Similar sized aros do tend to play well together
