Anyone out there experianced having an OSCAR with really bad HITH that won't go away? People have said that its due to the fact they have be in breed so many times and tend to have bad genes?

HITH doesn't ever go away, it just gets kept under control. Once your fish gets it, you need to keep your water pristine all the time (as you should anyways)
