Bad Light fixture?

Anyone have a light fixture go bad?

Mine just did but after it ate 3 light bulbs.

First one(light bulb) worked fine for about 3 months, 2nd one lasted a week(I thought maybe it was just bad). The 3rd one only lasted about 2 days. I'm on #4 now but I pulled a different light fixture from storage and it seems to be doing ok so far.

What kind of light? Make, model?
Ballasts can act up damaging bulbs. My Current Outer Orbit 150w hqi 2x65w PC chewed on a few bulbs before I replaced the ballasts. Mainly the PC bulbs.

Most were standard GE bulbs(for household), there was one actual aquarium bulb(I believe GE also).

Does the fixture have a fuse?
