BAD luck with Heaters

60 gal tank.
my heater was not working properly so i went out to the lfs and got a marineland non shatter 250w rated for 70gal. that didn't work well, called the lfs and said there was some recall, so i took it back and got a fluval m300 300w rated for 80...still not working like it should be. i'm aiming for the temp 82 and right now i'm at 74....what to do?

Buy a aqueon 300 watt heater. I use only one on my 190 gallon and it keeps it at a constant 80 F

I've used the same ferplast heater in my 60 gallon for over 12+ years and never had a problem...

okay will be going with jager 250w, some of them says they are fully submersible and some to line only, am i looking at different jager models?

I have had good luck with Hydor Theo heaters. For a 60, I would got for a 200-250 watt heater.

i've used hydor before and its also a hit or miss for me....just ordered the jager 250w...stated that its fully submersible, will be in some time late next week
