Bad news....Christmas wasn't so great after all

One of my tanks was cloudy, so I decided to do a water change. While siphoning gravel, I found my bowfin had tried to eat a 12" polypterus over the vacation. Both died. The bowfin was only 8", I figured there was no way, but it thought otherwise. I lost two of my favorite fish, the other was an Ornate. Sorry John, it was my fault. I didn't think there was any way it would happen.

I have one last pic on my camera, I'll get it and load it.

Wow that sucks man. I never understood why some fish are convinced they can eat fish that are bigger than them. That's like when someone says they're so hungry they can eat a whole cow and then they actually attempt it.
