the bad news

lost the best looking female retic i have ever seen...bringing my losses to males-1 females-2...she was starting to get better, disc color started to come back, more active...i though she was going to eat as she got scary skinny...then this morning dead...she got so skinny she had the "pelvic bones" showing and the dent between the eyes, yet she woulndn't eat nomader what i tried..:irked:... she had clear green poop so i was going to go to get some more prazi pro today to do another treatment, but she was gone when i woke up...

the good news

i still have 1 pair of retics...the female appears to be eatting for the past 2 days so i hope were good to go...she still has a small amount of fungus on her tail, but that is going away...
 
my male is still going strong...eats like a pig and turds that rival my own! he craps more then my 13" common pleco did..lol

thanx...i can never figure that one out either...it happen with my males aswell the better looking one died...

thanx and i say when one door closes another opens...i found a looker at the lfs today and she is now in my collection:naughty:

i know i should quarantine, but this one is not fresh...it was a ray that came from someones tank...then to the lfs tank (in witch it was alone)...then to mine...it is heathy and eatting well so i felt it was "safe"...any rays that i get that are unsure or that are fresh i will quarantine...this lfs is a good care giving and trustworthy sorce...yes the other tank did have a ray with a small amount of fungus, but it was being treated...alot of my problems with the deaths is from the sorce..imo
