i went to AL for 5 days to visit my grandsons (Michael is 3 and Robert is 1). i left my 21 year old son with specific instructions what to feed and how much and how many times a day, and apparently he doubled that.. had to, that tank has been VERY stable for a VERY long time with only 50% water changes every other weekend.
i got home to 3 dead Temensis and a cloudy tank with bits of raw fish floating. I'm in the process of cleaning out that tank and making it safe for inhabitants again. i'm thanking God that my angelfish and the 5 Ocellaris don't seem any worse for wear.
i had to put the divider back in the 100 gal tank and move everybody so i could clean the corner tank out completely.
It's starting to look like i should just pay for their airplane tickets to come here every year instead of me going there..
In a couple weeks i'll have the tank back up and running.. and i'm looking for another 55 or 100 gal for the younger pbass because the corner tank was over crowded with the young pbass growing up and still being too small to put in the big tank with Dozer, Pinky and the snooks.
And because of the current state of affairs in my marriage.. the 240 is gonna sit in the garage for a few weeks longer too.. i have to build the stand myself and i've got some bright ideas, but no practical knowledge of how i'm gonna do it.
