So my dual in wall 20G has been running for 3 weeks no problem. Came home last night was missing 2 neon tetras, I found them dried and dead in the sumps mech filter. I had no idea they could fit in a 1/4 hole, so I shut the system down like I have many times before.

Well this time it wont drain worth a darn, cap or uncapped (for those that read the other thread "Simple Physics Question"). So I assumed another dead fish or sand or something was clogging the pipes, tore the whole thing down and cleaned it. There was almost nothing in the pipes, the strong flow had kept them clean.

So put it back together and still didn't flow, I have no I idea what happend, or why its fubar'd , and i was tired had been up for 39 hours, I just installed stand pipes and called it a day.

I really hated to do that, as it worked so well for 3 weeks passed many power outage test, and looked great with nothing but fish and driftwood in the tank. Now I have a painted stand pipe that doesn't look to bad but just annoys me, as I know how it used to look.

Thanks for listening to me vent and rant a little.

I'll post the pic tomorrow.

Please Ignore the unfinsihed Trim. I haven't finsihed it just for this reason, I wanted to bee 1000% sure it was wroking before putting up trim.

Yea its not to bad, just glad I didn't put up the trim and paint. I am actully much happier with the water level now, and I dont have to worry about flood.
