He's way too skittish to use the overhead flash. Rarely out. Not much of an eater, yet. Looks like he has a deformed first few rays in his dorsal fin which is pretty disappointing. Especially coming from Jeff.

Good potential.I can see where You would be disappointed though, spend the money on shipping to get good quality fish and the quality is not what You expect.Still a decent specimen that i'm sure will bloom in Your care!
He looks awesome,just a little skinny but give him a couple weeks and he'll beef up for sure. I hate when I get a new fish(especially when ordered) and it has little imperfections like that!Try to get another pic that shows his flaws a little better,curious to see it...
I'll try for some more shots. He hides behind a rock that he dug a pit out 90% of the time.

The first 3-4 dorsal spines are folded over, like a comb-over or an emo hair cut. Maybe I'll just call him Shamu?

Hi Modest man.. Did you get your refund? The fish isnt expensive. But you bought the fish and paid shipping that is 10x more than the fish because of trust and the rep of the seller.. But what is the point of that if you getting a damaged or deformed fish
? I got a damage ugly fish and to make it short, I got my refund for my fish.. But too bad it took a space of another one.

Why would I need a refund? I'm not the sort of person to make a big deal over a little problem. It's unfortunate, but it's nothing to get my panties bunched up over.
I couldn't see the problem with the dorsal in the first pic, but the second one makes it much easier to see the issue.
