Recent news about a fried roach found in McDonalds hashbrown breakfast went viral over the internet, with consumers outraged at the fast food chain. From the looks of it, the fried roach isn't an incident big enough for McDonald's to take action.
For McDonalds it has become a daily habit to handle its angry customers. The fast food chain is now by far accustomed with charges regarding its products health and origins and even restaurant sanitation. But, theres one interesting fact to be pointed out. Throughout the past few years, American consumers have grown to become more aware about McDonalds policies and food.
Several online reports talk about a man who found a fried roach in his half eaten hashbrown McDonalds breakfast. The man under the nickname LinkboyJT fired up the internet with his story and even a photo of the disgusting breakfast he was unfortunate enough to have.
What makes this particular story so big is not the fried roach in particularly. It was the managers reaction that got people all fired up against McDonalds. LinkboyJT writes that when he showed the fried roach to the manager, she marked my receipt so I could get the same meal for free the next time I come in for breakfast. She didnt really seem all that concerned.
I was eating a hash brown from McDonalds on the way home when I felt something on the bottom reads the picture description, LinkboyJT posted on Reddit.
The picture that LinkboyJT took of his extra something breakfast is quite disturbing. The insect seems to be attached to the bottom of the hashbrown, and from the looks of it, its more of a moth than a cockroach. However, the Reddit users that saw LinkboyJTs picture have concluded it was a cockroach.
And dont imagine this is the first time McDonalds has an issue like this. Simply go check out the internet for bugs at McDonalds or in food and youre going to get a sample of stories that will make you think twice when craving for a burger.
It only shows if youre going to take the chance to eat in a fast food restaurant, then better be prepared to inspect your food thoroughly.
