I have had problems with my PH dropping (PH 6.0) since I changed from aragonite sand to tahitian moon sand. The TMS and black background made my tank very dark and my silver fish dull in appearance. I missed the PH buffering capability, bright white color and texture that the aragonite sand provided. I know many MFKers use play sand but I dont like it as much. I purchased 160 lbs of course white bahammian aragonite sand for around a $100 including shipping on line from Marco rocks. The stores sell it for about 1$ per lbs by me so this was a significant savings. i am really happy with the sand and thought I would share the link in case any one is interested.
