My young bahias from Rapps. All four are almost identical in spangles and gold!!!:D These guys changed a lot in such a short period of time. They grew about 2 inches in only 2 months. I know these guys are slow growers, but I have been blessed with these beauties. I have seen many kelberis, but IMO these guys have so much potential for a young age.:grinno:

These are some blurry crappy pictures. I am horrible with taking pictures!!!:(
Sorry for the bad quality!!!

Are these the kalberi's that was imported from Asia or wild caught from the state of Bahia?

(I forgot).... And if they are for the importer from Asia, Do you know what batch count number it is?

Nice bahias and orinos Dom. Those spangles on the kels are spectacular! It seems the majority of bahias don't blossom into gold or spangle on their fins until about 10" or so.

Very nice I like it ...That Orino also nice...Think jeff imported these F1...

damnnnn they look good!! all the cichla fever is making me go nuts!

Don't you mean breeder from Taiwan?
I wonder the same thing.
First batch of F1 appear to be gold with light upper fins and spangling starting there first.
This one has a dark upper fin and spangling starting on the lower fin.
Would be nice to know. Regardless, very nice bahia and orino.

Yep....

I was wounder the difference between the Jeff's and Fugupuff's Kelberi's. Not unless Jeff and Fugupuff bought the whole lot and split the batch 50/50.

Good looking Kel and Oriono OP.....I really can't wait to see all these kelberi's out there to hit the 12'' mark.

When I first got these, they were darker and more dull with very less gold/yellow color. Now they have way more spangles and their colors are crazy!!! Yes, they sometimes change colors depending on their moods. Most of the time, they are nice and gold with black dorsal.

Very nice Bahia! :D
