Does anyone think a bait squid would do ok in captivity.
I was thinking about trying to give it a shot.
Even if it died, it would have been bait anyway. (Not that i'm going to neglect it or anything) anyone have experiance?

Would a squid eat a couple hermits?

Well if it's from a bait shop then there's no harm in trying.

Squid, unlike some other cephalopods, are more of open water animals, so you'd be aiming at less decor in the tank and more open water. They will not take hermit crabs for this reason, because you're not exactly going to find a hermit swimming in the middle of open water, are you? Fish are a much more likely choice.
