bait worms as fish food?

well this year has been the worst worming season of my life worms are a great 60 percent protein snack for fish but haven't been able to pull out any every thing is just so dry in NJ. anyway I bought these Canadian night crawler at dick and I wanted to know if they were fish safe im assuming they are since the packaging is super green

I would think this would be the best possible source for earthworms to give your fish.

Any collected from the environment may have been exposed to pesticides or fertilizers.

They should be fine just rinse in cold water.:) I buy mine at the bait store all the time.
 
My fish love earthworms and nightcrawlers. I am actually using them now in an effort to get my cichla off of feeders, still live yes but its going in the right direction.
