Baking soda?

is this safe to use to clean herp cages/terr's?

New to mfk... id say its safe but dont put the life of anything in just my judgement.

I use Anti-bacterial soap and lots of warm water. Even if baking soda is safe, I don't think it has the disinfecting properties of bleach or anti-bacterial soap.
