Hi I was wondering if a single bala shark can live in a tank 3' by 18" by 20". Also can he eat blood worms and pellets if trained or what would be a good diet for one. Thanks

As a temprary home, yes but permanently no. Balas get around 16-18 inches full grown and with only 3 feet of swimming space and 18 inches of width that would be pretty cramped. They grow pretty slowly though so you can always buy a larger tank when that time comes, and that time will come.

i feed my balas everything blood worms ghost shrimp brine shrimp flakes pellets they eat whatever i give them . i switch foods almost every other day so they are used to it and yes that tank is fine for now. but in about 4 months he will out grow it.

try 3 roseline sharks instead. They are every bit as cool as balas and will only get aould 6 or 7 inches at best. I think they actually look better.
