I have 2 bala sharks and noticed this morning that one of them seems to haver an issue with her eye. Normally they are a black color but her left one only now looks like its covered with something slimy, almost cloudy looking over the eye. No one else in the tank seems to have it, everyone seems to look ok...what is it and what should I do?? Thank you

Go to a petstore and look for antibiotic medications. Use as the bottle says.

before you medicate, maybe you should first make sure the water is good, then do a water change, add some salt and wait and see if it gets better. cloudy eyes can be caused by bad water quality.

Yeah that is what is confusing to me. I havent had this happen to any fish before and the water quality is pretty good. Also just did a weekly water change yesterday. Just hate to see a fish not looking good and not know why or what to do. Like I said, it only seems to be his left eye, everyone else seems good and he is still very active so I am hesitant to treat the tank..also sorry for not having a pic to go along. Thanks

Cloudy eyes are a result of injuries or poor water conditions. Why do we need the meds? Clean water is all it takes to correct the issue. What are your water parameters, Irishfan?
