Bala sharks

Well I inherited two bala sharks for my 220, one is 8 inches the other is 10 inches. After watch them for a bit it was clear that the wolf fish was stalking them even though the bala is the same size as the wolf and the other is bigger. So during the night I think he would've attacked them and possibly killed one. So I decided to pull out the Wolf and give him a 55 of his own for the time being. Now the sun cat, tire track eel and polypterus endlicheri don't bother them. I like the activity they add to the tank, was thinking of trying to find another one to make it three total. What else is a good fish that will work with the bala's?

List what you like to put in with the Bala's and others will give their opinions. I think you have a few species of fish to select from but I can't really come up with anything at the moment lol.
 
Would like one more bala the same size express sure. Maybe some other type of catfish that will get along with everyone also. I can get a black Wolf but it would be meaner than the one I got so no to that. Not sure how a clown knife would go either.

I find that they grow rather fast, so if you find one around 5-7" it should catch up pretty quick.

If you're looking for bottom feeders, you could try a BGK. They're fairly common and don't bother other fish.
 
With bala sharks the more the merrier, I have five and love them but I don't find them fast growing. Mine are in a peaceful community tank. If you are looking to go semi aggressive the 220 may be a bit small for a sufficient size group since speed is their main defense
What are you considering as tank mates
 
Right now I have a 12" sun catfish, 15" tire track eel and a 13" polypterus endlicheri. Plus the two bala sharks I just got. I really like clown knives but not sure how it would work. Want something different than silver dollars.

Currently mine are smaller, so that may be why they are growing quicker.
