Ball python, feeding recomendations

How often and how much is recomended when feeding 4.5 feet ball python. I feed him now about 4 med mice every two weeks.

I feed my big girl a large rat every thursday and depending on how alert she is after i might throw in a mouse as well. she is also 4.5'.

I would try to get him switched over to rats. It is much easier and cheaper as well. I've also heard that rats are slightly more nutritous than mice too. Some BP's are difficult to switch to rats, but mine was pretty easy.
