ball shedding?

how long does it take for a ball pyhton to go threw its shed. its been 3 days since i noticed his eye caps and hasnt shed the skin yet. but hes pale.

when the eyes go from the white milky look back to clear it will shed.

sometimes it can take over a week for mine to shed when i notice the cloudy eyes

Mine shed in 4-6 days after they go blue

yeah normally the skin and eyes go back to normal look and then it happens over night.

With a higher humidity, it make take only a couple days. With a lower humidity, 10-12 days sometimes.

mine would have problems sheding sometimes, so i would soak her is warm water for alittle bit and getly get some off to get her started

they have "snake lotion" as i call it, it helps them shed. i use a spray...i think its called VitaShed. i spray the snake with it when i see the eyes get cloudy, and it seems to help the sheding process. you can get these kinds of products at your local pet store, or online. soaking helps too, so does raising the humidity.

correct humidity is the key with the balls.Also helps if they are healthy to begin with as far as being hydrated and the body fill in is good.Skinny flappy skin is bad and shedding will be even harder.

My pastel royal used to be a bad shedder, I give him upto 70% humidity when hes shedding and he sheds completely fine.
I thnk you'd find your royal shed completely with a constant humidity of 70% while in the blue and sloughing.
