ive a 6x2x2 tank our pride and joy so our water is tip top all fish healthy[arrowana, oscar, jag, bala and catfish] today i bought a large tinfoil and another bala from seperate tanks both looked healthy but tonite both are dead :[ they have a slight red appearance to the belly and a touch of a white film the only thing i can think of was my temp too high? it was 80 when i checked a bit too high ! all my other fish look great do you think this killed my new 2 ?

What size are the fish.....That tank will definately be over run with the fish's adult size SOON....Arowana grow FAST....blahblahblah....Keep up with the water changes....My program is twice a week, 45% changes.....

What are your water parameters? Your other fish are possible suspects. How did you acclimate your new fish? It seems to me you failed to quarantine the new fish as well.

Temp is not the problem (unless their original tanks were significantly different and they weren't acclimated long enough). How big are your current fish, and the ones you added? Are there any other visible imperfections to them? And as said, do you have any pics of them?

all my other fish look great, arrow about 10inch,balla shark 5inch,oscer about8inch,the fish that died there eyes were white? i put the new fish in there bags for 20 mins before getting released. im stumped????

i got them from pets at home, and put them in my tank, they were in there bags for 20mins before they got released.

you have to add water from your tank to the bag and let the chemistry of the two waters mix so your fish gets accustomed to the chemitry of the water
