I was at my LFS today and saw some balloon body flowerhorns. They looked very cool but i wanted to get a little info about them before I got one. First are they hearty? second can they typically get along with other large SA cichlids and third are they worth 25 bucks at 2 inches long? And any other tidbits welcome!

Wrong section to post it on. But as far as balloon body flowerhorn goes, it can be anything. SB/Bonsai flowerhorn or a kirin/killin parrot. And no, they are aggressive fish with the same temperament as a flowerhorn and would not advise to keep it with any SA cichlids.
Balloon body flowerhorn are extremely short bodied ones. I picked one up a month or so ago. They can hold their own against them as long as they are not considerably larger. Paid $30 for mine.
thanks for the info i was thinking about putting it with my juvi texas in a 40g untill it got large enough to put in with my other cichlids
