I have a male and female Balloon Green Terror. I got them about 6 months ago. The female was always the aggressive one out of the two, but now the male (who grew like an inch in the last month) is acting aggressive towards her. He doesn't seem to be hurting her, but I know she's getting stressed cause she does nothing but chill in the upper corner of the tank and her colors have darkened a lot in the last week. I know the GT's are an aggressive breed, but I'm just dumbfounded that the rolls have completely switched so quick.
Not really asking for help, just wondering if this happens all the time, and if it's normal for it to happen so fast.

They're in a small 20g while my new 75g gets setup. I know I'll probably get slammed for having them in a smaller tank, but oh well. Once they get into the new bigger tank do you think maybe they'll relax a little more? Ok, now her colors are back to normal. She's about 2.5 to 3 inches in length and has already laid eggs once, he's about 3.5 to 4 inches.

As soon as there in a bigger tank he should chill out...

Just until the new tank is up and running, I added two small Red Hook Silver Dollars to hopefully relieve some stress. It's working so far, my male is redirecting his attention and the female is much happier.
