Anyone else been there? went there this weekend it was alright, first time back since been in the hobby. Nothing to amazing but there was this awsome 4 foot long arowana and a 4ft + RTC
 
the aquarium has freshwater too, just not much
 
DC has the arapaimas and the crocs
 
I've been to the Baltimore National Aquarium a couple times. Have that got that huge rain forest biotope open yet? They were still building it last time I was there. I wish I had some more vacation time, I'd like to go back there. I'm only an hour away in Harrisburg, PA right now, but I have to head back to Iowa first thing Tuesday morning. Crap!

I was there about 5 years ago.They had cool Amazon setup with all the monsters including caimans.They also have a cool discus tank.Someone posted like it was lame.I thought the place was 10 times better than seaworld.I haven't been to Shedd but that seems to be the standard that all the others are measured against.
 
I was there about 2 years ago. Crazy packed with people just standing an staring at every tank for an hour so hard to see much. Fish weren't all that either. Actually think my lfs had a better selection of freshwater fish, and I've seen better freshwater home aquaria. Sharks were cool though, also the megladon jaw.
