Balzani Agression

I recently purchased a male Balzini Cichlid and male Firemouth Cichlid and I was wondering how will the Balzini fair against the Firemouth? Will he be able to hold his own. They're in a 55.

My 2-3" male dominated the tank once introduced...he was the smallest fish in the tank. I think it will depend on the individual fish so try it out and watch them for a few days. Just be prepared to move one or the other if aggression isnt reasonable.

Thanks I;m glad you replied because somebody was telling me that were very peaceful and can't hold they're own against other small Ca/Sa cichlids
