what do you guys think, ive seen um a lot in betta tanks, are they able to be fully submerged, im actually trying them out in my grow out tank, needed some advice about them

I had them for a while in my 125, They live as long as the leaves aren't submerged, but they didn't make it much longer after my plecos found them

so the leaves cant be submerged then, thanks ill put them out then

No. I killed 5 lucky bamboo plants this way. Keep the leaves out of the water and it should grow great.

i guess theyre called that, well yeah even my mom said not submerge it

idk i saw a thread onetime where this guy literally had prob 500 chutes of it in his sump and said it really helped... i was going to try it, but isnt it like 5 bucks a chute?

What about real bamboo - as in the kind you get from your local river bank? LOL...that's what I've been contemplating anyway : P
Just trying to figure out the best way to plant it in-tank...
