BamBoo in tanks???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's the fad around here !! In the area I live in!! :)

Yes, check out sources (Wal-Mart, Target, ebay, etc.) for lucky bamboo. I leave the bare roots on the surface of several shallow tanks and it grows like mad on "fish dust". I also have single stalks in old lift tubes hung off the backs of some larger tanks. The one I bought a year ago was about a foot tall on arrival. It's over 4ft tall now.

I know some people who has lucky bamboo in their tanks without problems. Make sure there is plenty of aerial space above wate surface.
And yea you will find a lot of info if you take a search.

BTW, using the excuse "I'm too tired" for doing a search sitting in a chair while your PC actually performs the search (no card catalog at the library)...well...

  Point taken. No more, please. You're gonna give us all swelled heads and egos. We're all...or, at least I am, just a regular run-o-the-mill fishkeeper. Nothing special.
