Bamboo Shark Egg

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if you do get one don't let it ever leave water (don't let air get to it) or it could form an air bubble and the shark could die or become deformed. most shark eggs will hatch but won't live much past that because it is very hard to get the shark eating. make sure you have plenty of live ghost shrimp on hand to start the shark on. you will really need those to get the little one eating then move it to shrimp, squid, mussels, salmon, and silversides.

I'd suggest a shark that has hatched and is already eating for the 1st go at keeping them.
It is very hard to get them eating for a beginner.

i have had a couple i have a 2 foot one right now hes about 2 years old and very healthy if your gonna have a egg yes dont let it hit air but also have it in a clean flow area where it cant get any kind of bacteria build up as that will kill it faster than air i would go with buying the shark as for the first year they are extremely easy to kill water flux will kill them diet change can make them stop eating and the last thing you want is to crying kids cuz your shark died or egg didnt hatch i own my own fish company if you need any help i am here i specialize in aggressive fish here at killer fish aquatics.

This has to be one of the coolest things I've heard of. I didn't know you could buy a shark egg and hatch it out. wbullock if you decide to go this route you have to do a little photo journal thread on it! That would be real cool. Good luck with it - N
