I picked up a cool little bamboo pup(no pics yet sorry!camera is charging) recently(was out late). Now I did my research, and right now he is in a 100 gallon holding tank(soon to be moved to a 400).So I know what to feed him and stuff, but what should I feed him as a baby?White shrimp?Market shrimp? thanks!

Raw shrimp, scallops, squid, fish (from the ocean), octopus, mussels, oysters, clams, krill, and maybe the occasional damsel if you are a little :nilly: like me.

Mazuri carries many products worth looking into.

For a small pup - you definitely need to cut the shrimp, clams, squid or fish in to tiny pieces - remember small sharks have small mouths.

Also shrimp actually needs to be peeled and the tail removed before feeding it to any aquarium shark - either pups or adults. Since the tail and shell of a shrimp can cause some major (potential life threatening) problems for a shark that eats them.

I always cut shrimp,no matter what.I naturally feed him shrimp, clams(cut),and brine shrimp. He eats very well too!He has a yellow tang and a spotted sweetlips for tankmates.Doesn't really bother them,he mostly keeps to himself. His tank also is pretty bare, besides live rock and an artificial brain coral(saving the enviroment...jk lol). It's fun to watch it during feeding time, and at night it's very active. He is about 7 inches.
