Hi everyone i am new to these forums. My name is Bryan and i have owned a SW tank now for about a year. my banded bamboo hatched about 2 months ago and hes still pretty cute but he has recently stopped eating. I have looked up this topic many times and have tried various other methods to get him to eat. I recently tried raw baby octopus from my local Viet market, and no luck. he doesn't seem agitated and appears pretty calm. any suggestions would really help me here.

Check your water parameters and make sure that no harmful substances are too high in concentration....I hope this does not spark a flame war but you could also try a few small earthworms.Drop them in front of the shark and their movement may entice him to start eating again....Using earthworms is shunned upon as food for sharks but I have fed them to stubborn sharks that I have had in the past.

thanks i really appreciate it but why would that start a flame war?
I touched on it in my first reply...feeding earthworms and nightcrawlers to sharks is pretty much frowned upon by many keepers but they have never harmed my bamboos......Glad to be able to help ya.

thanks again but i just found out the problem a couple of hours ago when i went to have my water tested. my house cleaners spilled some windex in my tank and aparently it was enough to poison myshark he died about an hour ago.... it took a whole bottle of turbostart to protect the tank

That's too bad, sorry for your shark.
