I have a recently hatched brownbaned bamboo shark. He is four days old no luck getting him to eat tried frozen squid an live ghost shrimp. But he wont take either even tried adding garlic still no luck. He also dosen't swim that much at night or during the day. He has a corner an he stays in it. Is this all normal behavior for a new born. Water quallity is were it should be the only problem I could figure is my tank was at the top of his temp range so I adjusted it down. Any advise would be greatlly helpfuly thanks in advance

Don't worry about them eating right away. In fact, you don't want them to eat until a few days... up to a couple weeks later. Right before hatching, they absorb the rest of the yolk sac at a higher rate than as they were developing. That extra intake of calories is what they live on for the first few days of there lives - so they don't need to eat.

Also, the 'garlic' trick isn't worth while on sharks. It's not a scent they associate with food. When the time comes, your best bet is will be oily foods like clam, salmon or squid. Then work him onto other foods for a well rounded diet.

For temp range, in the upper 70's is what you should be targeting. Sitting in the corner is what you can expect from them for awhile.
