Quick question can I use Bamboo Shelters for bichirs?

you could, as long as there are no sharp edges, and holes are not to tight that bichirs might stuck in there.

Sure, just make sure there is still plenty of space inside when the bichir is in it

Bichirs have a strong dislike of the colour and texture of bamboo. They view it like most people today view shag carpet and will completely avoid it.
I might just be BSing though, so follow the advice above.

might be a problem if more then 1 or 2 bichirs are trying to get into it. ive seen my a few of my bichirs try to get underneath a large piece of driftwood all at once and they end up moving or flipping the entire thing
