Hi all, my 20 long community has been up and running for over a year and I feel it needs a centerpiece.

Current stock is heavy but I do 50% WCs weekly with 1 10% change to vacuum poop in between.

7 pristella tetras (had for 2 solid years)
7 black neons
2 pearl danios
3 Amano shrimp

I figure the shrimp won't be a threat to each other and have multiple perches for him. I've kept one years ago and would like to give it another go.

Attached is a picture of the tank.

Thoughts?

I don't personally see a problem with adding a bamboo shrimp to your tank... although when i used to have one a long time ago, i noticed mine would basically be caught 24/7 hanging onto the outlet of the filter waving his fans in the current to pick up food...

But besides that, they are pretty cool to have...

I'd add in a bit of high water flow and some tallish plants or wood to grab onto near where it outputs and then you'll see them there a lot. In fact, it makes sense to use them as a centerpiece cause you can really determine where they'll be based on water flow.

All great points, the left side piece of wood actually sits right in the flow of my AC30 so he should perch there, if not the plant on the right side is in the flow of the AC20.

Will be picking it up hopefully this week sometime. Will post pics :)
