Hey i saw some babmboo shrimp the other day and watched them filter feed and decided they were the next cutest thing i had to have... so some questions about them to see if i would be right to own one...

1. I know they filter feed but would Hikari Micro Pellets be small enough for that?
2. I know they get like 3-4 inches so would they be compatible in a 20g comm tank with 1x apisto, 1x curviceps, and some danios/white clouds

thanks for any input

1. no 2. probly just make sure theres nothing in the tank that will harm him when he molts :)

so is there special food that i would need to get for it? Like first bite powder?

and i havent noticed any aggression whatsoever in that tank, everyone is showing full colors but ill keep an eye when/if i get it. thanks

They should be fine. Ive had a few with my big balas and some others and they are doing fine. Just give them easy access, a plant or rock, or they will swim to the filter, and some hiding spots. Mine all actually hang together a lot. Also food is not an issue, just feed your fish they will be fine. You will notice they eat waste products.
