From what i read on the site and around the net they seem to be mean and annoying fish. Is it all ture? i want a pair for my tank. they look really nice in my opinion

it was true in my case. i had to take it back to the lfs. some can be docile, and some can be absolute satanic!
both of mine have killed 2 cory cats but other than that they are pretty nice but im in the process of moving them in to a larger tank.
A lot of LFS sell them for community tanks..... Ive kept 3 of these before and found them to grow very quickly, ive raised them from 1.5"-8" rather quickly..... They really are agressive fish and much better suited for large cichlid communities and large tanks with disc characins
