So guys i could use a lot of help. I have a 55 gallon tank set up in my dinning room. I am currently working on breeding ebjd and thus this tank is stocked currently with three 3-4" bgjd one 3" firemouth one 2.5 flowerhorn/parrot and two loaches. I am using this as one of my grow out tanks. The water perimeters are 0 nitriates, 0 nitrites, 8.0 PH(all my tanks stay constantly at this and no other tank has problem). The temp i keep at 82. I have plenty of filtration and a UV sterilizer.

My issue is what ever fish i put in this tank start to freak and bang into the glass HARD back and forth then cower in fear and shock behind a piece of drift wood when ever anything in anywhere near the tank. I know that internal parasites can cause something like this but i have treated some of these fish with jungle parasite clear(like i do my ebjd when they get sick). What could this be? I thought maybe the noise of the hot filter but that wasn't it. I gave it a COMPLETE make over gravel and everything. The tank doesn't get any more traffic around it than others. But could it still be where the tank is placed? Any thoughts would be very great. I will try anything.

Just wanted to say. I FOUND A CURE. I placed tin foil over the sides of my tank and within a day they were fish again. I believe it is because the shadow would bounce around making them fill surrounded by something HUGE. And the idea came from my betta breeding auntie lol.
