Bangka snakehead ( Channa bankanensis)

im not sure if this is the place to write this but i figured i would give it a go.

im just wondering if anyone has solid info on thease fish. ive read alot on them but everything is always different.
I purchased one a couple monthes ago and he is curently 6 inches and grew 1/2 an inch in the month ive had him (feeding beefheart)
everything says either 6 or 8 inches but from my experiance a fish does not grow 1/2 an inch in a month when its near its max size
just wondering if anyone has had one biger or info on them getting bigger.

There is a snakehead sub-forum under 'other monster fish'. Maybe a mod can move it.
I've read that there are two species of bankanensis; one smaller max around 8" and another max around 15". I've never seen one over 8"s, but you may have the other kind. Mine is around 6-7" and has slowed in growth considerably.
